How to Install Uplink Mods Once you have downloaded your Uplink mod, you need to use your zip program to extract the zip file into the directory you installed Uplink to. So if you installed Uplink to 'C:\Program Files\Uplink', then this is where you would need to extract the zip file. |
I offer no technical support for any of these mods (except the VDPIN, which I made), so if you have any trouble with them, you will need to contact the author.

PornLink is essentially the same as standard Uplink, with one major difference - all the text in the game has been run through the Pornoliser translater. This basically means its full of delightfully foul language. Its pretty amusing, but be warned, some people may find this offensive, and it is not suitable for people under 18. This mod adds several cool new things to Uplink. Firstly, it adds a full DNS lookup system to InterNIC, with accompanying missions. Next up, it enchances a few things in the Global Criminal Database (eg. Dead people or people in jail wont answer their phone any more).
